Space has been transformed to promote new game
April 7, 2026 The Pokémon Company International has transformed The Mount in Acton into a real-world Pokopia Garden, to promote the launch of the new game Pokémon Pokopia. The space includes curated Pokémon-inspired terrariums, and hidden details for fans to keep an eye out for. The experience is available until the end of September. The company says it wants to recreate the game concept for local communities by bringing it to the real world and providing a new Pokémon-themed world to public spaces. The space is inspired by the game’s unique art style. It was created in collaboration with local businesses and organisations. Peter Murphy, Senior Director of Marketing at The Pokémon Company International, said, “In Pokémon Pokopia, players create a Pokémon paradise which everyone can live in. We wanted to bring some of that same feeling of growth and brightness to real-world communities, creating a space that is full of Pokémon Pokopia’s magic and open to all.”
