A woman has suffered facial burns during a flat fire in Acton, the London Fire Brigade (LFB) has said.

The fire, which broke out in a third floor flat on Cotton Avenue, also left a man needing treatment for smoke inhalation.

Two other men and another woman were able to flee the scene uninjured following the blaze at 0230 BST on Tuesday, the LFB said.

Fire crews are still investigating the cause of the fire.
