Police in Ealing are appealing for information following a theft from a motor vehicle on Kendal Avenue, West London.

Last Sunday, February 14th at 8:41pm, police were called to an incident outside Royale Leisure Park where unknown suspect(s) had broken into an Audi 80, causing £200 damage and stealing personal items she had left in the glove compartment.

The total value of the stolen items is estimated at around £310 and includes a Sony Ericsson mobile phone and TomTom Sat Nav system.

A police spokesman said: “Vehicle crime is probably one of the hardest crimes to tackle as vehicles are left parked unattended all over the borough.

"We always encourage motor vehicle users not to leave any valuables in their vehicles, even if they are hidden. Motor vehicle criminals will take advantage of our general lack of awareness so we should do everything possible to remove the opportunity and minimise the consequences of such incidents.”
