On Wednesday last week, officers from Acton Central Safer Neighbourhood Team executed a search warrant obtained under Misuse of Drugs Act 1971 at an address in Rosemont Road.

Large quantities of cannabis and drugs paraphernalia were found and seized.

A 27-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident and taken to a West London police station for further questioning.

The man was later charged with possession of Cannabis and subsequently appeared before Ealing Magistrate Court the following day (Thursday January 21st).

PS Neil Mackintosh from Acton Central SNT said: “This was another piece of an excellent police work in the fight against drugs in Acton”.
