Tributes Paid to 'One of a Kind' West Acton Dad
Fundraiser set up to help Patrick McKeller's family with funeral costs

Family and friends have paid heartfelt tribute to Patrick McKeller, a much‑loved father from West Acton who died suddenly at home aged 65. His death, described by relatives as “a complete shock,” is currently under investigation.
Patrick’s daughter, Tanaya, has launched a GoFundMe appeal to help cover unexpected funeral costs and give her father “the beautiful farewell he deserves.” The fundraiser has already begun attracting donations and messages of support from across the community.
In her tribute, Tanaya described her father as “one of a kind—a man with a big heart, a love for life, and an even greater love for his children.” She said family meant everything to him, and that he found joy in simple pleasures: music, building the perfect sound system, and taking pride in his car. “If you knew him, you knew his favourite colour was blue,” she wrote. “His laughter, kindness, and unwavering love have left an unforgettable mark on everyone who knew him.”
Patrick’s sudden passing has left his family “shattered,” but they say the outpouring of compassion has brought comfort. “From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your love, compassion, and support as we celebrate the life of an incredible father who will be deeply missed and forever loved,” Tanaya wrote on the fundraising page.
The family’s message ends with a moving farewell: “Dad, thank you for every lesson, every sacrifice, every laugh, and every moment of love you gave us. We will miss you every single day, and we promise to carry your memory with us for the rest of our lives.”
