The sixth Acton Carnival is taking place on Saturday 12th July, and is a unique opportunity for Acton’s diverse communities to come together and celebrate. Months of preparation, planning meetings, school and community workshops, costume making and dance rehearsals, in schools, youth and community centres come together to make the spectacle of Carnival.

The Parade leaves Woodlands Park, Crown Street at 1 pm and travels down the Uxbridge Road to Acton Park, bringing the streets to life with colourful costumes, music and dancing.

Activities in Acton Park takes place between 1 - 8 pm, where you will be entertained at the Family Festival, taste food from around the world, enjoy the craft stalls, arts activities, culture tent, fun fair, or the Youth Arena. A day with something for everyone.

Come along on the day, or if you want to get involved in the event, email rachel_acf@yahoo.co.uk.
