A fire broke out on an industrial estate in Park Royal this Sunday (27 November) sending up a huge plume of smoke that was visible across west London.

The Fire Brigade received the first call about the incident at 9.19am and sent 15 fire engines and around 100 firefighters to the scene on Abbey Road.

They battled the fire until 1.32pm .

Part of the ground floor and half of the first floor and the roof of a single-storey industrial unit was damaged. There were no reports of any injuries.

Fire crews from Park Royal and surrounding fire stations were at the scene.

The fire is believed to have been accidental, but the exact cause has been recorded as undetermined.
