50-year-old man died after receiving serious head injuries

A man's been charged with murdering a 50-year-old man in a flat in Cumberland Park.

The police were called to the address at 9.45pm on Tuesday night and found a man with serious head injuries. He was pronounced dead at 2.00am Wednesday 25th March.

Two Arrests After Man Killed on Cumberland Park

The victim has been named as Terrence Longman, aged 50.

Giuseppe Lomedico, aged 54, of no fixed address, has appeared at a preliminary hearing at the Old Bailey charged with Mr Longman's murder. He has been remanded in custody and is next due to appear in court on June 12th for a plea and case management hearing.

Two other men, aged 50 and 44, were also arrested and they have been bailed pending further enquiries.

The quiet residential street was cordoned of between Crane Avenue and Woodhurst Road the day after the death. It is the location of some of the most expensive property in the Acton area with a house on the road recently selling for £2.7 million, a new record for the W3 post code area.
