After theft from elderly resident in care home
Acton Central SNT are asking members of the public to be vigilant following a recent theft from an elderly resident of a local care home.
Two suspects (male and female) attended the man's home at 8:00pm and said they were from Age Concern. They had no ID on them and the female distracted the victim whilst the male stole £10 from the victim's wallet.
Suspects are described as:
Female: 5ft 9, with medium length straight black hair with a fringe.
Aged approx 27-28yrs. IC1, with a white pale face with a beauty spot on
her left cheek. She wore dark trousers and a whitish coloured cardigan.
Possibly dark coloured eyes, English local
accent, longish face.
Male: 5ft 6- 8, short reddish/ginger hair, square shaped face, aged
approx 45yrs, IC1, blue eyes, wearing sandy coloured clothes inc a
waistcoat and wearing a short sleeved shirt.
These individuals may be linked to a series of similar crimes in Surrey.
Police are advising members of the public to ask unexpected visitors for identification no matter where they claim they work (Police, Council, Gas board etc). If in doubt refuse entry to your home and contact the Police.
