Eye-witness accounts of an incident, initially thought to be a drug-bust, were reported on the ActonW3.com Forum last week.

A silver Vauxhall was involved and it was reported that a man was led away in handcuffs.

A Police spokesman has managed to give us a few details explaining the incident.

He told us, "It relates to an individual who was wanted on a recall to prison."

He said that several units were involved as the individual was "not being particularly cooperative", although he added: "Armed officers were at no time requested or involved."

He also said: "Use of handcuffs is standard due to Officer/suspect safety considerations."
