A murder investigation is underway after the death of a 19-year-old teenager in Acton. He died in hospital after turning up at Acton Police Station with stab wounds shortly before 11:00pm last night.

Craig Marshall, 19, of Meredith Tower, Hanbury Road, Acton, was taken to hospital after he presented himself at the front counter of the police station, but died a few hours later. Police said he is thought to have been attacked outside Rufford Tower in Lexden Road.

Two men, aged 20 and 21, have been arrested in connection with the death.

Murder squad detectives from the Homicide and Serious Crime Command (HSCC) are investigating the attack. An incident room has opened at Barnes under DCI Howard Groves.
