On Friday 11th April, officers from Acton Central Safer Neighbourhood Team, acting on intelligence from the community, executed a drugs warrant under Section 23 of the misuse of Drugs Act 1971 at Flat A, No 124 Horn Lane.

When they entered the premises police found a number of Cannabis plants in various stages of growth in the living room of the flat.

Further items for use in the production of cannabis,  including UV lamps and fans, were located in the bedroom.

A 32yr old man was arrested and taken to Acton Police Station.

He was subsequently charged with producing and possession of Cannabis a Class C controlled drug contrary to the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971.

The man was remanded in custody and appeared at Ealing Magistrates Court on 12/04/2008.
