Early next year, the One Show is due to run a film about Adam Faith’s early life in Acton.

The rock-and-roll singer, actor and businessman was born in Churchfield Road and later moved to the Vale.

Adam Faith

The One Show is very keen to track down any Ealing or Acton residents who knew Faith (who was born Terry Nelhams) when he was living in the area during the 1940’’s and 1950's.

Faith would probably have been pleased with the coverage from the BBC magazine programme. His last words are reported to have been:

"Channel 5 is all sh*t, isn't it? Christ, the crap they put on there. It's a waste of space"
