Fundraiser for Russell Dawkins will end with Gala 'Dance Off' in December

Following the success of The Park Club’s hugely popular Charity White Collar Boxing Event back in March 2014 where over £20,000 was raised for the locally founded RUSSELL DAWKINS BACK ON TRACK CHARITY, the Club is now swapping sweaty boxing shorts for sequins and glamour. Get ready for West London’s STRICTLY CHARITY 2014 !

October 10, 2014ans-serif">After some preliminary dance-offs between Hogarth and Park Club members back in July and September this year, 5 male and 5 female contestants have now been selected to compete in the main "Strictly Charity Grand Final” on 6 December 2014.

The contestants are all paired off with professional dancers and have started rehearsals for the Big Night in the Park Club giant dome, a ticketed event open to members and non-members.
The local dancers come from varying backgrounds (lawyers, doctors, gym managers to name but a few!). We’ll be following their progress in learning new shapes and moves including the Pasodoble, Charleston, Waltz, Cha Cha and more, as well as gleaning insight into the physical and mental fun of their experience, before they perform in front of 1500 attendees in December!

The event will have celebrity panel of judges and compere, exquisite costumes, make-up, glitter balls and a whole load of local fun which will raise thousands for people with spinal injuries like Russ Dawkins www.russelldawkinsbackontrack.co.uk.

BE INSPIRED TO DANCE YOURSELVES!
Dance supremos, Viktoriya arranged a special LATIN DANCE CLASS at The Hogarth Health Club, Chiswick (OPEN TO NON-MEMBERS TOO!) on Monday evenings in the Hogarth Bar. From 8-9pm there’s a class followed by social dancing from 9-10.30pm. Places can be paid for on a drop in basis (£12 per session) or bought in bulk (£40 for 4 weeks) from the Club Reception. Limited places are available.
