Don't miss the Change4Life event February 20th

Change4Life and Ealing Council’s public health team are supporting a Healthy Living event to take place at Ealing Broadway Shopping Centre on February 20th 10am to 4pm.

The aim is to inform and promote healthy living across Ealing, and a number of retail partners are supporting the event alongside Ealing Council who will provide BMI index measurement and health checks. Virgin Active will be onsite to advise on fitness and provide blood pressure checks, food tasting opportunities and giveaways will be provided by As Nature Intended, Whittards and The Fragrance Shop. Danone Ltd and Danone Waters UK & Ireland Ltd will share information about their healthy eating initiative Eat Like a Champ, as well as the global football tournament Danone Nations Cup.

Councillor Julian Bell, Leader of Ealing Council and member of the London Health Improvement Board, said:

“Most people would like to enjoy a healthier lifestyle, but often feel like they don’t have the time or information to achieve it. The Change4Life campaign is fantastic, because it gives people practical help and advice on how to make small, achievable changes that can have a big impact on their health and wellbeing.”

“As a member of the London Health Improvement Board, I have been given special responsibility for tackling obesity, especially among youngsters. I hope that local people will make the time to come along on the day and pick up some helpful tips on how to eat healthily and lead a more active life.”
