Strong flat sales lead price rise in local property market
Newly released figures for the property market in Acton show prices are rising with activity in the market quite strong. New flat sales have been brisk with well over half the sales in the area being in this sector. Despite this the average price of a W3 property has risen by 12.9% over the quarter and 17.9% over the year. Semi-detached houses appear to have risen exceptionally strongly up by 36.7% over the year. Nationally properties were up by 8.3% over the last year to an average price of £178,423. London saw the highest rise for England and Wales in this period with the average property now costing £323,511 up by 11.6% In a forthcoming edition of the ActonW3.com newsletter there will be a complete listing of recent property sales in the area.
