The local that is more than just a pub

An Acton pub now has culture as well as beer on tap as it delights art lovers with regular exhibitions.

The Rocket Bar & Restaurant, in Churchfield Rd, is staging its latest show
on 16 Feb. It will feature work by local artists as well as entertainment from live
bands, a guest DJ and a projection show.

Entry is free to the event, called Love Buzzz, which begins at 2pm and ends
at 1am the next day. Visitors will be able to meet many of the artists and all work will be for
sale.

Organiser Andor Primasz said: "At least 10 artists are taking part - with more coming forward all the time. As well as some fantastic paintings there'll be lots of colorful surprises to play with your senses for a whole day.

"It'll be taking place just after Valentine's Day and a few fortnights before spring - so we want to bring back a bit of life and sparkle into W3.

"The idea is to come back from the hibernation of those cold and gray winter days and have a bit of fun."
