A hustings on education policy has been tonight to take place at Twyford Church of England High School in the performance centre between 8-9pm.

The event has been organised by Toby Young so that local parents and members of the West London Free School parent group can ask their prospective parliamentary candidates in Ealing what their attitude towards local education is before making up their minds about who to vote for.

The event will be filmed by the BBC who are making a documentary about Toby's group's efforts to set up a school. It's in the performance centre.

Toby says: "It's important to understand what the education policies of the three main parties are, even for those who've already secured their child a place at a good school. For instance, in the Lib Dems' manifesto there's a suggestion that they may force faith schools to abandon their faith-based admissions criteria. I intend to ask the Lib Dem candidates about that on Friday."
