Twyford C of E High School has a fantastically busy schedule for the next few weeks.

There are three contrasting events that show off the range of talented Twyford students.

Straight off the back of their fabulous performance for the ‘Oliver’ production, Twyford‘s Symphony Orchestra were in rehearsals with the Junior Symphony Orchestra of the London College of Music. It’s the LCM’s 50th Anniversary and this collaboration provided a very enjoyable evening of popular classics drawn from the world of movies.

Next Tuesday Evening their sublime Chamber Choir help celebrate the Passiontide service in the beautiful school Chapel (details below).

The following Sunday sees the runners up of the Popular Music Competition battle it out on the stage of the Lyric Hammersmith to see who is the best band, the best group or the best solo singer – this year’s talented bunch are going to make it hard work for the judges… (details below)

Next week:

Music & Readings for Passiontide
Tuesday March 23rd at 7pm in the Chapel. The Chamber Choir will be performing a number of choral pieces alongside readings to mark the lead up to Holy Week.
You are warmly invited to come and join us. No tickets required.

Next Weekend:

The popular music competition is back again! On Sunday 28th March, the very best of Twyford’s Music talent will be taking to the stage at the famous Lyric Theatre in Hammersmith. Last year’s winner Louise Benjamin went on to win the ‘Ealing’s Got Talent’ Competition. Last year, the show sold out fast and tickets are selling very quickly this year, so get yours before it’s too late!
