Acton Dog Behaviourist Appearing in New TV Series
Nigel Reed to feature in celebrity dog training show 'Wagging Rights'

An Acton-based dog behaviourist is set to appear on national television as one of the resident experts in UKTV’s new celebrity dog-training series, Wagging Rights.
Nigel Reed, an author and behaviourist, has spent more than 25 years working with dogs and their owners. Now he is bringing that experience to screens across the country as he guides five well-known faces through a series of canine challenges.
The six-part programme follows comedians Rhod Gilbert, Sara Pascoe, Harriet Kemsley, presenter Vicky Pattison, and comic Kae Kurd as they learn to train their own dogs in disciplines including obedience, scent work, agility, freestyle and ball sports. Nigel works with each celebrity throughout the series, helping them understand their dogs’ behaviour, improve their training techniques and ultimately judging their progress.
Nigel said the experience has been a highlight of his long career. “Having the opportunity to take what I do every day with dog owners and bring it to a national television audience has been a fantastic experience,” he said.
Wagging Rights will air on U&Dave and U&W, and will also be available to stream for free on U.
The series is expected to attract dog lovers, comedy fans and viewers interested in the challenges — and joys — of training a pet under pressure.
