Shoppers at Acton Market can now snap up second-hand bargains every week. Following a successful trial of two second-hand markets, Acton Market Project Manager John Kester says every Sunday will be second-hand day at the Market starting this Sunday, 28th September.

“It’s clear that people like to buy second hand. There’s always that feeling that you’re finding a treasure among someone else’s unwanted goods,” says Kester, “People are feeling the financial pinch, and this is a good way to save money and have an enjoyable day out at the Acton Market.”

The Second-Hand Market will take place every Sunday from 9am until 1pm. The Acton Market is held at King Street/The Mount, Acton W3 9NW every Friday Saturday and Sunday from 10am until 5pm.

The regular Sunday market traders selling fruit and veg, hot food, jewellery and homewares will be on hand as usual from 10am until 5pm.

Anyone can take a second-hand stall at Acton Market on Sundays, but stalls must be booked in advance. For more information, please contact the Acton Market team at Action Acton on 020 8993 9605 or info@actionacton.com or visit the Acton Market website at www.actonmarket.co.uk
