Three kilometres to raise money for Derwentwater School
Acton Park Fun Run is a 3k event that raises money for Derwentwater School. The 4th edition of the run will be held on Sunday 18th October from 10.00am. There is also a 1K run for primary school children.
Anna John, the event organiser explains ‘This is a small event that aims to both raise money for our local school and encourage everyone to get some outdoor exercise. There is a very friendly atmosphere and everyone is welcome whether you are a total beginner who will walk round or a competitive runner’.
