Young Man Stabbed In Broad Daylight | ||||
58 year-old man arrested by police in connection with incident
The police have informed ActonW3.com that on November 1, at around half-past one in the afternoon, they were called out to the junction of Friary Park and Horn Lane - close to Acton Main Line station, and outside of the local cafe Harry's Bar. There they found a man in his 20s suffering from stab wounds. In a rather dramatic move, an air ambulance was called out to airlift the young man to a nearby hospital, its distinctive sound and whooping siren calling the attention of many local residents. The police tell us that the victim had been stabbed in the chest, but that the injuries are not life-threatening. He is now in a stable condition. A 58 year-old man has been arrested in connection with the crime, and has been awarded bail. He must return to a police station in December. More on this matter as we receive it. November 9, 2011
