Woman Taken by Air Ambulance to Royal Free

Injuries sustained by female motorbike rider thought to be 'serious'

Today shortly after 9:00am, police were called to a road traffic incident on 3rd Avenue at the junction with the Vale involving an Audi A6 and a motorbike.

The female rider of the motorbike was treated at the scene by the London Ambulance Service.

She was taken by helicopter to Royal Free Hospital for further medical treatment.

The injuries sustained by the victim were at the time described as serious.

Various road closures have were put in place.
