Middlesex champions for recruiting volunteers

Acton Ealing Whistlers have won the prestigious award of FA Charter Standard Club of the Year 2013 for Middlesex.

The award recognised the hard work and commitment the club had shown to grassroots football, the club continues to grow each year and provides football for children from four to sixteen years old.

AEWFC won the award for having innovative ideas in promoting the FA Respect Campaign, recruiting, retaining and rewarding our volunteer workforce. All volunteers are CRB checked and all coaches hold relevant coaching qualifications.

We will soon have a "UEFA B" Qualified Coach. From the humble beginnings of a dance club and penny whistle band started by Dennis Fitzgerald and Friends, Acton Ealing Whistlers is now recognised by all as being a first class club in Middlesex giving opportunities for all children to play the beautiful game. The club now represents Middlesex in the Regional Awards.
