Appeal For Next of Kin After Body Found

Police are appealing to locate the next of kin and any witnesses following the discovery of a body at a property in Acton W3

At approx 09:57hrs on Saturday 28 July police were called by a member of the public to reports of a body found at a property in Twyford Avenue, Acton.

He is believed to be 45-year old Lee Mervin O'Keefe.

A post-mortem examination held on Monday 30 July at Uxbridge Mortuary confirmed he died from a brain haemorrhage.

Police await results of further tests. His death is being treated as unexplained at this time.

An Inquest will be opened in due course.

The death is being investigated by the CID at Ealing.

DS Tim Bunkall from Ealing CID said: 'Officers are very keen to locate this man's next of kin to ensure they have the appropriate support and appeal for any other witnesses. We believe he may have been involved in a fight last week prior to this incident.
