Police appeal after incident in May

A 27-year-old man's been stabbed near William Hill Bookmakers on Horn Lane.

It happened On Saturday 18 May at approximately 18:15hrs, and police are appealing for any further information.

They say there were three suspects who made off in the direction of the A40 in a silver hatchback car (make and model unknown).

The victim was taken to hospital suffering non-life threatening injuries. He has since been discharged.

Police Constable Kye Cole said: "I am appealing to anyone who witnessed this incident to contact me. This was a particularly vicious assault and I want to find those responsible. We cannot let people like this bring violence and fear to our streets."
