New book produced by the children

A local school has come up with an innovative way to teach children about healthy eating.

Derwentwater Primary on Shakespeare Road has created a cookbook to raise money for a teaching kitchen for the kids to learn about healthy eating, cooking and food!

The Village Store on Churchfield Road is selling the books as well as the school - there will be stalls at the school gates after school this week and then they will be available at the school office.
