Teenager Dies After Being Stabbed in Crown Street

Public asked did they witness an argument outside local cafe

A 17-year-old boy has died after being stabbed on Crown Street, Acton this Friday afternoon (16 October).

Police were called to the location just before noon. They found the teenage boy who was suffering from stab wounds. He was taken by London Ambulance Service to a central London hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

His next of kin have been informed.

Another 17-year old has been arrested on suspicion of murder and taken to a west London police station and he remains in custody.

Detectives from the Homicide and Major Crime Command are investigating.

Detective Chief Inspector Rebecca Reeves, who is leading the investigation, said, "Crown Street would have been a busy at the time of the stabbing and we are appealing for any witnesses, or anyone with any information, that was in or around the area to contact us.

"We are particularly keen to hear from anyone who saw or heard an argument outside a café on Crown Street."
