Results being announced across the country
Brentford and Isleworth has declared with Mary Macleod winning for the Conservatives. Ealing Central and Acton has also gone to the Conservatives with Angie Bray topping the poll. Labour appears to be performing better in London than it has done in the rest of the country. The first result declared in London was Tooting which was held by Labour. Putney and Battersea were won by the Conservatives. The results from most other seats likely to be announced between 6am and 7am. We have people at all the counts and will publish the results as soon as possible after they are announced.
Local election counts are due to take place today(Friday) with the results expected to be declared in the afternoon.
