A sparkling evening of laughter, music, singing – and even a bit of (tango) dancing – will be held in support of a good cause at St Mary’s Parish Church, Acton Market Place, on Friday 8th April!

Normally unseen (and unheard) local Acton musical talent, featuring piano, trumpet, flugelhorn, saxophone, clarinet and voices, will be raising money for local organisation, Jambo Jambo. Each year, working with the Prince’s Trust, Jambo Jambo takes six young people who have had difficult starts to their lives to Kenya and Uganda. The group work in schools and orphanages, and organise a fun run for 2000 African children. Teamwork, and experiencing different cultures help them look at their problems in a fresh way. You can help them – and enjoy some of Acton’s finest musical talent at the same time! To secure your Jambo Jambo Concert tickets, ring Alistair Bown on 07930 557691 or email alistair.bown@sky.com
