Ealing Council has opened a consultation for W3 residents concerning the Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ) scheme along Valetta Road. The Council wants to ask local people how effective they believe the changes put in place since the last review of the area, in 2009, have been.

The Council promises that the results from the consultation will be used to make "any changes necessary" to ensure that "we provide the best value to our residents and businesses".

Among other things, the questionnaire asks local residents how their experience of the CPZ area on Valetta Road has been, whether they feel there should be a controlled zone at all, what days or hours they think parking controls should be in force for and whether they are satisfied with the number and location of pay-and-display and stop-and-shop places.

The results and comments received during the consultation will be presented to Acton's Ward Councillors for their consideration and then any changes they propose as a result of public feedback will be passed onto the Borough's Cabinet in order to receive the green light.

If you have any thoughts about parking on Valetta Road, you can complete your questionnaire online at ealing.gov.uk/consultations. The consultation will close on 29 September 2014.
