The Safer Neighbourhood Panel for Southfield ward is made up of volunteers who work with the local police team to tackle crime and anti-social behaviour. It covers parts of Acton including in the area between Southfield Park and Acton Park.

The panel is holding its Annual General Meeting on Tuesday 4 October, at St Peter's Church, Southfield Road.

Councillor Andrew Steed said: "The meeting starts at 7 pm and is an opportunity for you to hear what the Panel has achieved over the last 12 months and to elect the members. You can raise any concerns that you may have about policing and crime in Southfield Ward and ask questions to the local police team. The meeting is open to all residents, so please do come along."

There have recently been changes to the Southfield ward policing team with Sergeant Gail Stanton taking over as the new sergeant in ward. She leads a team of four, who are backed up by additional police constables from the area. Sergeant Gail Stanton has already attended a meeting of local residents where she responded to concerns and questions about crime.
