From June until October South Acton Community Allotment will be running free 'Grow Your Own' training sessions for local residents of all ages and abilities. It will be a chance to see how easy and fun it is growing some of their your food.

Sessions will run at the Oaktree Community Centre and the allotment plot at various times during the week and weekends and everyone gets to take home a couple of pots to get them started.

There will also be activity sessions at the Community Allotment on the Jerome Tower allotment site, behind Jerome Tower and Buchan House. Activities for all ages and abilities will include building raised beds and helping grow fruit, vegetables and salad leaves. Best of all, everyone can take home a share of the produce for a tasty meal, fresher than from any shop.

So whether you want to taste truly ripe tomatoes, peas fresh from the pod or something more exotic, visit southactoncommunityallotment.wordpress.com, email southactoncommunityallotment@gmail.com, contact 07922408753.
