Talk on the findings following excavations of Syon Park
Acton History Group invites you to join them for an illustrated talk by archaeologist Robert Cowie on recent excavations in Syon Park which revealed discoveries on themes including Roman buildings, dress, food preparation, agriculture and burials.
Robert Cowie is a Senior Archaeologist with Museum of London and has been actively involved in field archaeology for over 30 years. He has supervised several excavations in and around Syon Park. This a repeat of his talk at Gunnersbury Park on 16 March which was over-subscribed so lots of people didn't get in.
