Witness Appeal After Two Children Injured in Car Crash

Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a crash on Uxbridge Road, near Ealing Common which injured two children.

Officers were called to the location at about 10:45hrs (Tuesday 2/09) to reports of a Mercedes Coupe which had been in collision with a road sign.

The vehicle was travelling westbound. The female driver of the vehicle was not injured.

Two children, aged six and 11, were taken to hospital. Their injuries are not life-threatening. No other vehicle was involved.

Detective Sergeant Steve Pidgeon, of the MPS Roads, Policing and Traffic Command (RPTC), said: "I would like to appeal to anyone who was in the area at the time and who may have witnessed the collision to contact us."
