An Acton man has appeared in court charged in connection with a robbery in which a man was left unconcious.

The victim had been walking home in the early hours of the morning on the 28th October when he was hit from behind and had his bag taken. He was taken to hospital and treated for a bleed on the brain, fractured collar bone and eye socket. He is now recovering from his injuries.

Hanad Mohamed, 21,of Nemoure Road, appeared at West London magistrates on the 6th November charged with one court of Robbery within the Acton area. 

He has been remanded in custody and will next appear at Isleworth Crown Court on the 17th January 2011.
