Ealing Council's Community Safety Team has joined the Metropolitan Police to host a 'Polish Open Day' in Acton.

The event will be held on Sunday 16 September in Acton Park from 11-5.

Entrance is free and the event is suitable for all age groups.

The event will be an opportunity for the Polish Community to get useful information from exhibiting partners such as Local Safer Neighborhood Teams, Citizens Advice Bureau, Primary Care Trust and local organisations and businesses.

As part of the London Week of Peace, the event aims to inform people about community safety, community cohesion and the absence of violence.

Food, entertainment and activities such as a 5-A-side football
tournament and a bouncy castle will be there for all to enjoy.

There will be useful advice from all the exhibitors who will be able to help you with matters such as dealing with bullying, domestic violence, opening a bank account, how to re-register a car, dealing with unfair landlords, working out whether your employer is cheating you, help with finding a GP, help with looking for a job

The event is part of the Council's priority for safer
communities in Ealing.
