A.P.P.L.E. needs enthusiasts to help with a fantastic project.

The gardening and food growing project is run by A.P.P.L.E to enthuse children and young people in the delights of home grown fruit and veg.

We are looking for older people to join in and share their knowledge and skills.

You don't have to have experience of vegetable growing, just a little time and a willingness to get involved even occasionally.

This is a wonderful opportunity. Initially volunteers will work with other adults but there may be opportunities to work with children at a later date.

Showing children how to grow vegetables and encouraging them to eat things they have grown themselves is one of the most rewarding experiences imaginable.
