Three people have been charged following a the stabbing to death of a man on Dordrecht Road.

Laura Goncalves, aged 27 years, who lived at the address where the killing took places has been charged with the murder of her partner Danilo Castanheta-Figuerido.

Her mother, also called Laura, and brother Paulo have been charged with conspiracy to pervert the course of justice.

Police were called in the early hours of Monday morning to an address on Dordrecht Road. On arrival police they found Danilo Castanheta-Figuerido suffering a single stab wound.

Initially police close the Vale but then cordoned off Dordrecht Road and questioned residents of the road as they left their houses for work in the morning. They were told they wouldn't be allowed to return until late afternoon.

A post mortem the same day at Ealing Mortuary gave cause of death as a single stab wound to the heart. The victim also sustained minor injuries.
