Emilia Fox Reveals her Perfect Weekend

Internationally acclaimed actress loves Acton, markets and soup

This weekend in the Telegraph, Emilia Fox gave an insight into her perfect weekend.   After a week's work - usually filming, "My dream is to arrive at our cosy cottage in Acton, west London to find Jared (her actor husband and son of Richard Harris) preparing a surprise soup. He cooks a fantastic range of soups - my favourite is pea and courgette. He loves cooking and is very adventurous. He tries recipes from the River Cafe books, which is great, because I can't even boil an egg. When I moved in here I couldn't work out how to turn on the oven."

Who needs to cook with Vanilla just up the road, where Emilia has been occasionally spotted buying a smoothie.   For someone who also owns a property in Los Angeles, it is refreshing to hear that Acton holds such attraction for this glamorous and internationally successful actress - known for the lead role in Silent Witness and for her role in the Oscar-winning The Pianist.  

Emilia Fox is an avid market-goer and loves to spend her weekends at Borough Market and Camden. Perhaps once Acton's Farmer's Market gets into full stride she might have less travelling to do.  

Her weekend ends in Acton, just as it started there: after visiting her parents for lunch on Sunday (actors Joanna David and Edward Fox) "I like to see what is blooming in Acton Park."
