An e-fit has been released of a man police detectives wish to identify in connection with the sexual assault of a woman in Acton.

A lone female was walking along Avenue Gardens in Acton on Saturday, 27 July at around 7.30pm. A man grabbed the victim from behind and a struggle took place before the attacker fled down Avenue Gardens.

The suspect is described as a light skinned male, maybe of Middle Eastern origin, aged around 20, 5ft 11ins tall and of medium build.

The victim did not suffer any physical injuries but was shocked and alarmed by the attack.

Anyone who has information concerning the identity of the male shown in the e-fit should contact detectives at West Area Command Unit via 101 or Tweet @MetCC quoting CAD1286/5AUG19.

Police are still seeking a man in connection with an allegation of rape that took place on Mill Hill Road last month.
