The three brothers arrested last week by detectives investigating the death of Osvaldo Carvahlo have been charged with murder.

They have been named as Kamaljit Sohal, 22 of Uxbridge Road, Ealing, Sukhminder Sohal, 23, of Lockwood Road, Southall; and, Michael Sohal, 27, also of Lockwood Road. They were all charged on Saturday, 28 September with the murder of the 22-year-old man from Hanwell.

They will appear in custody at Ealing Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 30 September.

Detectives from Specialist Crime are investigating.

Osvaldo Carvalho was stabbed to death near Ealing Common at around 6pm on Tuesday, 24 September. He was treated by emergency services but died at the scene on West Lodge Avenue, W3.

The brothers were arrested on suspicion of murder early on Friday, 27 September.
