A 23-year-old man from Acton has been arrested in connection with the murder of Partick Oyeri in Hounslow earlier this month.

The man, who has not been named by police, was detained along with two others from Hounslow. All three men are currently in custody at a south London police station.

Victim Patrick Oyeri

Patrick, who was aged 29, and had a five-year-old daughter has been described as a gentle giant by family members. He was found lying on Rosebery Road on Monday, 4 September at around 3.35pm after police were called to reports of a fight taking place between two groups. When officers arrived, the groups had dispersed but they found the victim suffering from a stab wound.

An air ambulance was called and Patrick was treated at the scene by paramedics, but they were unable to save him and he died at 4.18pm from what was later found to be a stab wound to the liver.
