A major police operation ended with eight arrests and one man injured at an industrial estate off Bollo Lane last Thursday (30th May).

It is believed that the incident involved a group of squatters at the old Chase Signs office on Colville Road, Acton W3. One eye-witness claimed that an improvised flame thrower was used to try and resist arrest.

The police say they were called to a disturbance at the address at 8.10am. A Metropolitan Police helicopter was also in attendance.

Eight people were arrested at the scene on suspicion of violent disorder. All have been bailed to return pending further enquires. A 56-year-old man was taken by London Ambulance Service to a west London hospital with head injuries. He is not believed to be a police officer.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call Ealing Police on 101.
