Police were called at 0900hrs on Friday 13th June to reports of trespassers in a residential address in Avenue Crescent.

Neighbours became suspicious of activity at the address as they were looking after the address whilst the occupier was away.

The neighbours were unable to gain access via the front door and called a locksmith to assist.

As the locksmith was in the process of gaining entry, nine men exited the house.

Police arrived a short time later and arrested Seven men aged between 18-30yrs.

Six Polish men aged between 18-30yrs admitted to entering the property and using the facilities - Bathroom, Fridge, washing machine, lights, TV, dishwasher.

All six received adult cautions for Theft of Electricity.

A 22yr old polish male was released without charge.
