Police have appealed for witnesses to a serious assault in Carisbroke Court, Brouncker Road, Acton.  The incident in question happened shortly after midnight on October 31.

Police were called at 12:50am on Tuesday morning by a member of the public. There were reports of a man being assaulted by a gang in the communal hallway of Carisbroke Court, Brouncker Road.

The 18-year-old victim was found by police suffering a number of injuries to his lower body.  He was taken by ambulance to a London hospital. His injuries are not life threatening and polce say his condition is stable.

The police believe that the victim was shot by an air weapon or a BB gun. At this early stage in the investigation they are keeping an open mind as to a motive. No arrests have been made but if anyone has information is urged to contact the Ealing Borough CID on 0208 721 7060.
