We are sorry to share the sad news of the death of Chris Bogle.

Chris lived in Acton all of his life. He went to Derwentwater Primary, Acton High School, and was currently at the London School of Printing studying a Design Degree.

He was an active and positive member of Acton’s community, through his art, passion and warm personality. His death is a great loss. Chris was full of life and positive energy.

Many people will remember him from his stalls at Acton Market - which were always a magnet for people interested in finding out more about his work.

His creative legacy in the form of murals and art exhibitions can still be seen throughout Acton.

One of Chris's more recent murals can be seen on Bollo Brook Youth Centre, on Bollo Bridge Road.  He also painted one on Hardy Court, beside the shops. Every year, he also renewed the mural under the shelter in Acton Vale playground with another local artist.

His work is currently on display in The Station House Pub (formerly the Churchfield pub), Churchfield Road  and in Oaktree Community Centre, Osborne Road.

Chris's funeral service will take place at 10.30am on Friday 21st December at St. Mary’s Church, The Mount, King Street, Acton. The burial will follow in Greenford Cemetery at 12.30pm. There will be a celebration of his life afterwards from 1.00pm at Acton Vale Community Centre, off Beech Avenue, Acton.
