Yes - it really is countdown to that time again

Christmas is coming and you can take part!

The Acton Christmas Fair will take place on Saturday 8 December from 10am to 4pm. Last year's went well and we are building on that success, trying to attract more people and have more traders, performers and family activities.

Trading stalls

We are looking for both commercial craft traders and community/charity groups to take stalls (all of which will be under cover). We want a wide variety of goods on sale, so will be allowing only 2–3 stalls of the same sort to participate. Community/charity stalls must provide goods for sale or an activity for people to do in addition to promoting themselves. The cost is £25 for commercial traders and a £25 deposit (returnable on the day) for community/charity groups.

Performers

If you or your group is up to performing outside in December, we'd love to hear from you. Singers, dancers, instrumentalists – whatever you can do, we can display it. We'd very much like to showcase the wide range of talent and the great variety of cultures that we know are thriving in Acton. We can't pay for your participation, just provide you with a time, place and appreciative audience.

Family activities

If you'd like provide an activity in which children and/or families can take part – making things, doing something – we'd be interested in hearing from you. We can pay reasonable expenses for materials, etc.
