W3 gallery presents event in support of Cancer charity

In celebration of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science,this Saturday there will be a special event held in Acton.

The Portraits of Women in Science event will be taking place 15th February at 6 pm, in aid of the MACMILLAN Cancer Support at the W3 gallery.

Mirella Orsi is a well-known speaker and writer on science and medicine in Italy, she currently works in London and is bringing her expertise to talk about how research helps the fight against cancer. 

She says:

"It is a pleasure for me to be part of this great initiative and to have the chance to spotlight some of the many women that worked and work in Cancer Research. If you are in London, join us for a great evening of Art and Science.''
